The CISS Business Training Program for New Valley Entrepreneurs, started in June 2020, has the aim to provide training courses about professional items such as business and financial management, products (handicraft, organic farming and ecotourism services), entrepreneurial activities, marketing, e-commerce, computer literacy, foreign languages. This Training Program is addressed to young people and women who already have or wish to open a micro, small or medium business in the sectors of handicraft, organic farming and ecotourism services in the New Valley Governorate.
The online phase of the Training Program is concluded. During this phase, trainees had the chance to deepen their understanding about topics such as entrepreneurship, business and financial management, marketing and branding, computer literacy and business English.
Now it is time for the trainees to apply their new knowledge!
The face-to-face phase of the CISS Business Training Program for New Valley Entrepreneurs is now going to start. This phase will see each trainee involved in a practical preparation of his/her project work idea for the creation of the start up the trainee is willing to open and drive in the future. Trainees will therefore apply what they have learnt during the online phase of the Training Program, being supported on a daily basis in the preparation of their project work by trainers and tutors through lessons and work groups addressing the different component of the project work (feasibility study, marketing study, etc.) After the end of the face-to-face phase of the Training Program project works of the trainees will be evaluated.
Stay tuned to know more about the upcoming activities of the project “Strengthening business environment for the eco-touristic development of New Valley Governorate”.
