The most successful trainees of the CISS Business Incubator Management and Marketing Training Course, foreseen under the Project “Strengthening Business Environment for the Eco-touristic development of New Valley Governorate”, were selected to become tutors and trainers of the upcoming CISS Business Training Program for New Valley Entrepreneurs. The upcoming course is intended in particular for young people and women of New Valley that wish to start and/or improve their business in sectors such as handicraft activities, organic farming and ecotourism services. It will be held at the premises of the Micro-Small Enterprises Incubator of Kharga Oasis and it will provide training about professional items such as business and financial management, products (handicraft, organic farming and ecotourism services), entrepreneurial activities, marketing, e-commerce, computer literacy, foreign languages.
Trainers and tutors of the upcoming course are now undertaking a preparation phase of coaching, thanks to which they will enhance their capacities as trainers and tutors.
The CISS Workshop “How to perform the Training Portfolio”, held on the 4th March 2020, is part of the preparation phase and is intended to support trainers and tutors in preparing an executive plan for the actual training process, by preparing the scientific material, activities and procedural steps necessary for the implementation of the training on the basis of the training objectives.
During the Workshop the participants learnt about the purposes of a Training Portfolio and studied the characteristics and different sections a good Training Portfolio should have.
Meantime, the selection process of the upcoming CISS Business Training Program for New Valley Entrepreneurs is ongoing. The course is one of the numerous activities expected from the Project “Strengthening Business Environment for the Eco-touristic development of New Valley Governorate”, whose aim is to strengthen the social and economic role of women and youth in New Valley Governorate by fostering income generating activities strictly related to local needs and natural resources availability, such as handicraft, organic farming and ecotourism services.
